ServSafe Registered Instructors teach ServSafe food safety training courses, ensuring these important lessons are clear and consistent to the learner. Instructors can proctor the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification online or written paper-and-pencil Exams.
ServSafe Proctors are approved to proctor the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification online or written paper-and-pencil exam. Only registered proctors may proctor an online exam.
ServSafe Instructor and Proctors that were registered before November 27, 2007 can renew their status to become a ServSafe Certified Instructor and/or Registered Proctor.
The ServSafe Alcohol course can be taught by an Approved Instructor. Approved Instructors provide consistent, current and comprehensive training across the entire organization. Approved Instructors can also proctor the written paper-and-pencil or online examinations.
ServSafe Alcohol Online Proctors are able to proctor the ServSafe Alcohol Advanced Online Exam only. Servsafe Alcohol Online Proctors are not authorized to teach a course or proctor any ServSafe Alcohol Paper-and-Pencil Examinations, which must be administered by a ServSafe Alcohol Approved Instructor.
